The Responsible Person is the natural or legal person established in the EU who ensures that a cosmetic product complies with Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. A product may only be placed on the EU market if a Responsible Person has been designated for it.
The Responsible Person's duties include product safety, the product information file, CPNP notification, labelling and reporting serious undesirable effects.
