Questions
Does CLP apply to finished cosmetics?
No. Finished cosmetics for end users are labelled under the cosmetics regulation. CLP applies to their raw materials.
Does a GHS label from Asia meet CLP?
CLP is based on the UN GHS, but the EU uses its own hazard classes, label elements and language rules. An Asian GHS label must be reviewed and adapted.
Must the SDS match the label?
Yes. The classification on the label and in the SDS must be the same.
